Sorry, I didn't know of Peter Wix before this release, but I was already a fan of The Home Current. This release is a fantastic mix of music and words, a perfect blend of poetry/narration and music. Wix's words have an edge to them that is perfectly captured in Martin Jensen's weird and wonderful sounds. Unsettling rhythms bounce, seemingly innocently, around the spoken work, but menace creeps through. It can be an enjoyable casual listen, but concentrate and you enter their disturbing world.
